Luster is a solvent-based paint for wood, metal and wall surfaces for interiors only. It gives a semi-gloss film with a stylish pearl-like finish and high clean-ability properties. On suitable roller application, it gives orange peel finish.

Product Information

PURPOSE:-

It is specially formulated to give a high-quality mid-sheen, long-lasting finish to masonry & wooden surfaces.
It is stain-resistant & can withstand frequent cleaning.

Technical Information

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:

a. Drying time: Surface dry time 2-3 hrs.

b. Gloss Levels/Sheen Levels: 30 - 45 at 60°G H - Silky smooth finish

c. Flash point (IS 101/1987, Part 1, Sec 6): 35° C (95° F)

d. Stability of thinned paint: Use within 24 hrs.

INSTALLATION METHOD:

Stir paint thoroughly & strain through muslin cloth before use.
Apply two coat of paint over the primed surface after thinning with thinner (61-33) thinners is not normally required.
If necessary thin up to 10 % by volume. Do not thin excessive to avoid dripping.
Do light sanding before two coats. If required, after proper drying.

MEASUREMENT METHOD AND UNIT:

You need to measure the area you are covering for painting
Measuring the area is fairly easy if you have a square or rectangular shape, as you can easily measure two sides to obtain the square foot.
AREA=LENGTH X BREADTH ,Consider 5% for wastage
