Technical Information

INSTALLATION METHOD:

STEP 1: MEASUREMENT

▪ Check t room dimensions by getting it measured preferably by a professional installer. Use measuring tape to carefully determine the size of your space to be floored. It is important to get accurate measurement before placing the order for material.

STEP 2: SUBFLOOR PREPARATION

▪ The first and the foremost thing in the preparation of the sub floor is to clear the installation site with a stiff bristled broom to remove all the loose dirt, soil sand, grease, or any other residue from the floor.

▪ Inspect the floor. It needs to be hard flat 0 level and completely smooth. Fill all voids and crack with an appropriate patching leveling.

▪ The floor should be tested for any residue moisture. The surface of the floor must be completely dried if moisture content is traced.

STEP 3: ACCLIMATIZATION RELAX SHEET

▪ Sheets must be allowed to relax for 24 hrs. in room temperature between 20 degree c and 27 degree c Prior to installation. This will help to sheet to expand or contract and acclimatize to the normal humidity level and prevent vinyl from coming up on the process.

STEP 4: FIX COVINGS IN THE CORNER OF THE WALL

▪ Fix the coving strip on the corner of wall. Coving provide properly shape coved section to act as a supporting base bar for coved sheet vinyl flooring.

STEP 5: PLACE THE SHEET ON FLOOR

▪ Place the sheet on the sub floor rolling it across the room as per the marking on the floor according to room dimensions

STEP 6: GLUING & FIXING THE FLOOR.

▪ Flip the half of the product over and apply adhesives to the floor and expose some adhesives across the back of sheet. The adhesives should be allowed to dry as per the manufacture guidelines before fixing the flooring sheet by applying pressure evenly on the flooring. Use the same process to remaining PVC flooring sheet. If flooring sheet is patterned then make sure the pattern of adjacent floor roll match. Use the utility knife to cut the pieces on edge of the floor length wise as needed.

▪ It is recommended to use light weight steel roller across the steel roller across the floor to ensure good installation.

STEP 7: THERMAL WELDING FOR SEAMLESS FLOORING

▪ Heat welding is a process for all seams. Coving and corner fill pieces of sheet vinyl . heat welding is provided for strong watertight and hygienic seams. Heat welding should be done after the flooring adhesive is setup.

STEP 8: CLEANING

▪ Clean the floor with any high-quality, p/h-neutral vinyl cleaner. Install transition pieces -i.e. – thresholds, t-moldings, base shoe. Always secure moldings to wall, not the floor.

Maintenance and Warranty

MAINTENANCE:-

DO'S:-

⮚ Wipe up household spills as soon as possible. Vinyl flooring is resilient, however, spills should still be cleaned up immediately. If the spill is left on the floor for a long period of time, you risk permanently staining the floor.

⮚ Use a doormat to keep out dirt. Grit and dirt that is tracked in from your shoes can act like sandpaper, removing the finish from your floor.

⮚ Protect your flooring from damaging furniture by using floor protectors. A good rule of thumb is that the heavier the item, the wider the floor protector is needed.

⮚ Rinse well to remove all the soap.

⮚ Wash your floor occasionally with a floor cleaner. Look for a neutral cleaner that isn’t too harsh.

⮚ Sweep, dust, or vacuum, your floor daily if needed.

⮚ When moving heavy pieces, you use a plywood sheeting path. If a piece of furniture, or an appliance, is too heavy to carry, you can use a plywood path to drag them. This will protect your flooring and make your move easier.

DONT'S:-

⮚ Never use a detergent that is abrasive. Vinegar or “mop and shine” products may leave a film on your film, rather than give you that shiny floor that you seek.

⮚ Never use a wax polish.

⮚ Never use an abrasive scrubbing tool on your floor. This can cause scratches and harm your flooring..

⮚ Never drench your vinyl with water. Water from an overly wet mop can destroy the glue bond that holds down the vinyl. This can cause the corners to curl and the vinyl floor to become loose.

⮚ Sharp edges can damage the surface of your vinyl floor. Instead, use chairs with felt tips, which won’t harm your vinyl.
