Technical Information

INSTALLATION METHOD:

  1. Clean and dampen the concrete on which the stones are to be laid.
  2. Apply the bonding slurry compound slurry to the concrete where the mortar is to be placed in an even coat (approx. 1/32” thick)
  3. Place the mortar mix on the concrete and the paste on which the stone is to be laid. The mortar bed should be 1” thick with no voids and evenly spread.
  4. Remove all loose material from the back of the stone before laying.
  5. Apply the bonding slurry compound to the back of the stone in an even coating (approx. 1/32” thick).
  6. Place the stone into position gently tapping down with a rubber mallet (white rubber mallet is recommended to avoid marking the product). It is important to ensure that there are no air voids under the product as this may cause the adhesion of the stone to fail or the product may not be fully supported.
  7. Tap the stone down to the desired level.
  8. Consistent open joints should be allowed for at 2/8”-3/8” spacing.
  9. Trowel fills any voids around the product and removes any excess mortar and discards it.
  10. Remove all excess material from the surface of the stone using a clean sponge with clean water. It is important to work as cleanly as possible to avoid marking the product.
  11. Do not spread too much mortar as it may begin to dry before you have laid the stone.

Maintenance and Warranty

MAINTENANCE:-

DO'S:-

⮚ Sweep, dust, or vacuum, your floor daily if needed.

⮚ Do clean surface with mild detergent or stone soap

⮚ DO bloat up spills immediately.

⮚ Always perform routine cleaning maintenance to your tiled surfaces.

⮚ DO dust countertops, islands, vanities and floors frequently.

⮚ DO blot up spills immediately to minimize permanent damage to the stone.

⮚ Sealer friendly material should be used for regular cleaning

DONT'S:-

⮚ Avoid using steel wool, scouring powders, or other abrasives

⮚ Don’t use bleach or ammonia-based cleaners

⮚ Do not clean marble with oil-based cleaners

⮚ Don’t let spills sit, try to clean up spills as quickly as possible

⮚ Don’t use bleach or any acidic solutions to clean your granite floor

⮚ Don’t use harsh scouring pads or steel wool. They may scratch and damage the surface of the stone

WARRANTY: 1 year for colour fade.

SUBBASE REQUIREMENTS: DRY , LEVELLED, NO DIRT OR GRITS, NO CRACKS, FIRM

MEASUREMENT METHOD AND UNIT:

STEP 1: Measure the area of the room. Use the tape measure to measure the length and then the width of the room , Making a note of measurements.

STEP 2: Calculate the square footage.
