Product Features

SPC stands for Stone Polymer Composite, a limestone core combined with PVC dust and a stabilizer. As a result, it's denser due to the core being 60-70% limestone with a 30% PVC core fused together. Often referred to as rigid core, SPC is 10X more impact resistant than WPC(Wood plastic composite). It's also more stable to sunlight, can be installed in sunrooms, and has better scratch resistance compared to WPC. It's specially designed with Click-Locking joint system, easy installation, water-proof, the basic material is Stone-Plastic composite, it's formaldehyde free, completely safe flooring materials for both residential and public environment. The SPC vinyl floor is going to feel more sturdy and cushioned under foot than a traditional vinyl due to the dense core and thickness of the plank. A thicker plank will give you more comfort. Also, some SPC vinyl will have attached underlayment that adds to the softness under foot.

Technical Information

INSTALLATION METHOD:

  1. Step 1 - Establish a Starting Point

● Remove any existing wall base, shoe molding, quarter round or doorway threshold.

● Determine the longest, straightest wall to begin installation; this is usually an exterior wall.

● Measure the total width of the flooring (including the tongue), plus ¼” for expansion. Measure out this distance in at least 2 places from the starting wall and 12” from the corners. Then, snap a chalk line parallel to the starting wall.

  1. Step 2: Lay out

● Choose the longest and straightest boards and align the planks tongue with the working line, cut the last

plank to the proper length leaving a ¼” from the end wall. Repeat this step for the second row, making

sure to stagger the joints. The minimum end stagger is 6 inches.

  1. Step 3-Rack the Floor

● Once the first row is in place, continue to lay out the planks. Be sure to blend the planks and stagger the

end joints a minimum of 6” apart to ensure a favorable appearance.

  1. Step 4 - Installation of Flooring

● Once enough of the planks have been racked out, begin installing the planks by fitting the short side of

the click system into the long side of the click system. Make sure that the click system is engaged evenly;

any gapping can compromise the integrity of the installation. To ensure a tight fit, use a tapping block

and rubber mallet on the long seams and tap down on the top of the plank at the short seams. Continue

installing planks across the room ending at the far wall.

● It may be necessary to rip the last row to allow for the ¼” expansion. If the last row is 2” or less click the

pieces to the last full uninstalled row and install them together. If needed use a light rubber mallet to

make the remaining rows tight to the installed planks.

  1. Step 4 - Completing the Job

● Clean the floor with any high-quality, p/h-neutral vinyl cleaner.

● Install transition pieces -i.e. – stair nose, reducer, end cap, t-molding and base shoe. Please follow

manufacturer’s installation guidelines for transitions.

Maintenance and Warranty

MAINTENANCE:-

DO'S:-

⮚ Wipe up household spills as soon as possible.

⮚ Use a doormat to keep out dirt. Grit and dirt that is tracked in from your shoes can act like sandpaper, removing the finish from your floor.

⮚ Protect your flooring from damaging furniture by using floor protectors. A good rule of thumb is that the heavier the item, the wider the floor protector is needed.

⮚ Rinse well to remove all the soap.

⮚ Wash your floor occasionally with a floor cleaner. Look for a neutral cleaner that isn’t too harsh.

⮚ Sweep, dust, or vacuum, your floor daily if needed.

⮚ When moving heavy pieces, you a plywood sheeting path. If a piece of furniture, or an appliance, is too heavy to carry, you can use a plywood path to drag them. This will protect your flooring and make your move easier.

DONT'S:-

⮚ Never use a detergent that is abrasive. Vinegar or “mop and shine” products may leave a film on your film, rather than give you that shiny floor that you seek.

⮚ Never use a wax polish.

⮚ Never use an abrasive scrubbing tool on your floor. This can cause scratches and harm your flooring.
