Mass loaded vinyl, also named as MLV and rubber sound insulation felt underlay, is made from EPDM rubber or PVC. As it’s known to all, sound insulation material must be mass material. Unlike other soundproof materials, mass loaded vinyl is flexible.

INSTALLATION METHOD:

  1. Measure and trim your MLV. Measure your wall from top to bottom.
  2. Prepare your wall for installation.
  3. Applying your MLV.
  4. Expose your electrical outlet boxes.
  5. Finish your seams.

Maintenance and Warranty

MAINTENANCE:-

  • Clean well with alcohol and use vinyl or latex paint

WARRANTY: 1 year for color fade

SUB-BASE REQUIREMENTS: DRY, LEVELED, NO DIRT OR GRITS, NO CRACKS, FIRM

MEASUREMENT METHOD AND UNIT:

  • You need to measure the area you are covering.
  • Measuring the area is fairly easy if you have a square or rectangular wall, as you can easily measure two sides to obtain the square foot.
  • AREA=LENGTH X BREADTH ,Consider 5% for wastage
